SUSTANON is a combination of Testosterone Propionate, Testosterone Phenylpropionate, Testosterone Decanoate, and Testosterone Isocaproate that belongs to the group of medicines called Androgens. It is used in adult men as a testosterone replacement to treat various health problems associated with primary/secondary male hypogonadism due to lack of testosterone. It is also used as a supportive therapy (masculinization) in female-to-male transsexuals.
Male hypogonadism is a condition in which there is a lack of production of certain hormones such as testosterone in men which plays an important role in masculine growth and development during puberty, adequate quantity sperm, or both. Masculinizing hormone therapy is a type of therapy used to induce the physical changes in the body caused by male hormones during puberty (secondary sex characteristics) to promote matching one’s gender identity and body.
Testosterone Propionate, Testosterone Phenylpropionate, Testosterone Decanoate, and Testosterone Isocaproate are androgens that works by binding and activating the testosterone receptors in the target tissue, thereby producing the effects of natural testosterone in the body.
SUSTANON is not recommended for use if you are allergic to testosterone, peanut, soya. It is also not recommended for use in patients with a history/suspected to have/ had tumour in prostate gland or breast. It should be used with caution in patients with lung cancer, chronic lung disease, pulmonary embolism (blood clot in the lungs), severe liver disease, cancer in kidneys, severe kidney diseases, congestive heart failure, myocardial infarction (heart attack), and or other severe heart diseases.
SUSTANON is not recommended for use in pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and children (below 3 years of age). The common side effects associated with the use of SUSTANON are signs of increased red blood cells and haemoglobin (tiredness, headache, blurred vision, joint pain, itching, numbness and/or tingling), or weight gain. Consult your doctor if any of the symptom worsens or prolong for a long period of time.
